Committees

The Division of Social Accountability administratively supports a number of CoM committees that are working to advance a health equity agenda. If you would like to know more or get involved, please contact the DSA administrative assistant (joanna.winichuk@usask.ca).

 

Social Accountability Committee 

Terms of Reference

The SAC acts as the main advisory body of the college in relation to social accountability and is a consultative body to the Division of Social Accountability.

There is currently an open call for resident and faculty members to the committee. For more information please contact the Social Accountability Strategist (erin.walling@usask.ca).

Indigenous Health Committee 

Terms of Reference

The Indigenous Health Committee plays a central roll in the college in helping to optimize Indigenous health and healing knowledge, teachings and skills. It is guided by the Teachings of the Seven Grandfathers and respectfully collaborates with Indigenous Elders, leaders and communities.

Making the Links Advisory Committee

Terms of Reference

This committee advises the ongoing operations and advancement of the Certificate in Global Health – Making the Links Program.

Health Training in French (HTiF) / Formation Santé en Français (FSeF) Committee

This committee directs the Health Training in French / Formation Santé en Françsais (FSeF) initiative of the department of Community Health & Epidemiology and works in collaboration with provincial and national organizations, such as the Réseau Santé en Français de la Saskatchewan (RSFS) and the Institut Français to promote health training in French and enhance access to health services in French.

Community Reciprocity Fund Adjudication Committee

Terms of Reference

The Community Reciprocity Fund Adjudication Committee reviews applications and makes award recommendations. The committee is full at this time. For more information please contact the Community Engagement Specialist (natalya.mason@usask.ca).
