Rajan hails from BC where he started his career in healthcare as a paramedic (after quickly realizing that the lab work wasn’t his cup of tea). He has ventured his way slowly east across Canada for medical school and residency before coming to Saskatoon. Raj needed a few extra years of residency training to get up to snuff before transferring into Emergency Medicine as a PGY 4, and couldn’t be happier or more honoured to be part of the USask EM family. In his time off you can find him at the gym or visiting friends or family in one of many cities across Canada. Raj enjoys snowboarding in the winter, working on cars, and misses his motorcycle (don’t ask). His interests in EM include EMS, cardiology and critical care.
