A)  Small RNA Silencing of Replication and Gene Expression: bacteriophage lambda (λ) replication initiation silencing, influence of λ replication associated proteins on λ and coli metabolism, e.g., influence of λ gpP on DnaB helicase sequestration and cell mutation; OOP RNA silencing of cII.

B)  Phage Display Development: Platform genetics system for vaccine construction using phage lambda as a display particle for foreign antigens; to appraise molecular interactions & obstacles to generating high display density, high yield bacteriophage lambda display particles (LDP) for use in phage display vaccines and for phage therapy alternatives.
