Biography

Dr Wendy Chrusch completed both her medical training and residency in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at the University of Saskatchewan. After completing her residency in 2006, Wendy accepted a position in Regina, working primarily at Wascana Rehabilitation Center which offers a full spectrum of rehabilitation practice. Special interests include pediatric rehabilitation, musculoskeletal medicine and electromyography.

She is very interested in medical education and teaches both medical students and residents. She is the undergraduate coordinator for PM&R.

Dr Chrusch has a strong interest in sports medicine. She represents the Saskatchewan Academy of Sports Medicine (SASM) on the Sports Medicine and Science Council of Saskatchewan (SMSCS). She provides medical coverage at local sporting events and is a level II wheelchair rugby classifier. Dr Chrusch is also a member of the Saskatchewan Acquired Brain Injury Outreach Committee.

Outside of work, Wendy enjoys running, cross-country skiing, swimming, cycling, triathlons, kayaking and yoga.
