About

Dr. Regush is the Area Department Lead of Quality Improvement in Saskatoon. She is an Assistant Professor with the University of Saskatchewan Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology where she has practiced in a community-based practice since 2007.

She was raised on a farm near Moosomin, Saskatchewan (Red Jacket, SK – to be precise). She did her education at St Peter’s College in Muenster SK for the first two years of studies in Arts and Science, completing a BSc in Physiology in Saskatoon.  She completed her MD in 2002, and residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology in 2007.

She has a very busy general obstetric and gynecologic practice, maintaining a presence in the inner city through Westside Community Clinic on a once or twice monthly basis. She has a broad range of clinical interests encompassing the whole specialty, including HIV and substance abuse in pregnancy, minimally invasive gynecologic surgery, fibroid management and provision of care in vulnerable populations.

She has been active in the department in the Residency Program as Associate Program Director from 2010 to 2013, and until 2017 sat as the Obstetrics representative on the Residency Training Committee. She is currently the chair of the Quality Assurance and Safety committee for the department as of July 2017.

Her house is equally busy as a mother to 3 boys.
